Grand Lake Stream Road Princeton, ME 207-796-2100 The Community Forest protects 71 miles of lakeshore and watershed. Boat landings are on on Wabassus Lake, Fourth Machias Lake, and Sysladobsis Lake. Accessible by hand-carry or light trailer boat access, not for heavy or deep-draft boats on trailers.
Directions: From points south: Take I-95 North to near Bangor; take I-395 to Route 9 East (or to Route 1A South to Route 46 North to Route 9); take Route 9 East to Baileyville (or to Alexander, left on South Princeton Rd to Route 1 North); take Route 1 North through Princeton into Indian Township; turn left on the Grand Lake Stream Road. Drive about 10 miles into the village.
