A: You may use either cash or, in some cases, a debit card. Credit cards will not be accepted. Most dispensaries will have an ATM on the property, and if they do not, they will be able to direct you to one nearby.
Q: Delivery?
A: Medical marijuana is available for delivery from a select number of dispensaries. The state of Maine is considering legislation that would legalize recreational marijuana deliveries, as of March 2022. Please note that weed can only be delivered to your private residence – not to your hotel or lodging.
Q: Can I take it home with me?
A: Yes, but only if you live within the state of Maine. If you are traveling to Maine from out-of-state, it is illegal to cross borders with your medical or recreational marijuana products.
