This market features a talented, diverse group of farmers, artist, bakers, and more. There is a wonderful selection to choose from, including locally grown meats, fresh baked goods, smoked meats, wooden bowls, toys, and Mexican and Indian food to go.

Shoppers here can buy everything from lobsters to homemade soap and aprons as well as traditional offerings such as fresh produce and flowers. And if they get tired, they can relax by getting a chair massage or a hand, face and scalp massage.

Orono Farmers' Market is one of Maine's larger markets with 26 members offering a wide range of locally produced foods on Saturday mornings and Tuesday afternoons, open rain or shine.
Summer Location, Dates and Times: Steam Plant parking lot at 300 College Ave. ; Saturdays from May to mid-November 8am – Noon; and Tuesdays from end of June to end of October 2-5:30pm.
Winter Location, Dates and Times: Asa Adams School at 6 Goodridge Drive; Saturdays in December and every other Saturday from January-April, 9am - Noon

From jams to bakery treats and everything in between, this regional market brings Maine staples together to one hoppin' place. The market accepts EBT/SNAP (food stamps) on Saturdays in July, August and September. SNAP customers can double their money with coupons for free fresh fruits and vegetables.
